When you slipped away
A Poem
It was Autumn that day;
when you slipped away.
Left me broken and torn,
and feeling so alone.
The tears that I cried;
they still haven’t dried,
and the pain that I feel,
is still just too real.
Sometimes I wonder;
sometimes I fear.
Will I ever be past it;
Will I ever not feel it,
The loss and the grief;
Will time bring in my relief?
